Last week the career site was at 42 open jobs as of Friday for WTC and M---ord combined. They're slowly sneaking them in there so it doesn't look suspicious.

No, this is not because people jumped ship. These are the jobs of those laid off that GM wants to fill with less-expensive workers. Job descriptions and titles will change, so they can claim they are looking for a different skill set. Surprised people can't see this.
It is possible that more people are leaving than they accounted for. I.e they wanted to cut 4500 but 5200 people are net gone due to people jumping ship.
