If there are folks that got cut I would appreciate if they posted what location and what department they are in. Also, additional info is useful, like the manner in which they were laid off and other details. Think that it would be useful info for the rest of us awaiting our faith at WS.

I'm not the OP, and I'm not affected (yet) so I apologize if I'm being rude, but think it is actually good idea to use this thread just to sum up approximately how many people affected. Short posts, without any personally identifiable info (like 3 people in ...)

This is what, the fifth, sixth or seventh layoff? If y’all were surprised I feel sorry for you.
You do realize these cuts will keep coming year after year after year until there's nothing left of this company right? Let the people have their privacy. The time will come for everyone at some point. Just get out when you can, the ship has been sinking for years.
I was affected by the staff reduction. but refuse to give any more details. All I will say is look for a new job now. The market is decent, so get a new job now before windstream forces you to find one.
sounds to me like you just wanna be nosey. give those who were affected some space. it doesn't matter how it happens if it's your time, it's your time and should be a shock.
