Is it just IT being affected by layoffs today or other departments are being hit as well?
I feel bad for folks in IT - I hear numbers of those cut are high - but I'm sitting on pins and needles here, so if somebody could reassure me and say it's IT focused, I'd be really grateful.
Once all of repair/operations goes overseas it will be the final nail in the coffin.
Alot in ACC as well, just heard of several I worked closely with.
Sales engineers and CLEC OSP Engineering, along with IT. Sadly, IT instead of TT
Engineering is also affected, or at least I was.

They also went through and laid off the entire legacy EarthLink after hours team, they're sending all their jobs to overseas.
Mapping is affected as well.
