No Overnight Stocking? Uh, right. I highly doubt that. Wal-Mart wants money overnight, literally, so they have stores opened 24/7. Why bother closing overnights if it means losing out on potential profits?

I think there is thought that less stores will be 24hrs in the future 🤷♀️
In most stores the only "customers " overnight were tweakers stealing the store blind. The very few customers that are not stealing do not make up for the theft.
Until you've worked the o/n shift you have no idea what it takes to put a store back together again for the next day. In general I've found that everyone thinks that what they do is harder/more important than the other guy or shift.
WOW, w e h! That was almost coherent! You were trying sooo hard!
Guess I'll be the one to point out: Nobody's said anything about no more night stocking by the employees----it's no more night shopping for the customers. Old school Div. 1 days revisited. I've believed for some time they needed to return to that.
When it has to sell 500 B$ of Revenue for a net income of 9.86 as of 1/31/2018. Yet on 1/31/2015 Total Revenue of 484 made them 16.36, So this is like seen a building drops to a net from 16,363 feet to 9,862 feet, Yet, you see a frame that's grosses out at 500,343 feet high. So A little market wiggle at high altitude and on It's back to the ground again. Than it more the just the light out at night shift that will save it. To be strong you depend on the footprint and building blocks for support.
Most stores most likely have a hard time breaking even. You have to measure sales against expenses....cost of goods, payroll for associates, theft, and utilities (lights, water, heat, air).
Overnights is just a constant disappointment everyday. Good riddance
