Continuous, small layoffs

I don't think they're going to have layoffs all in one big chunk anymore. It's going to be a rolling effort, with departments and personnel being eliminated on a continuous, as-needed basis.

This is exactly what I'm afraid of. At least with regular layoffs we know when it's going to start and we know when it will end. Like this, layoffs are omnipresent. I hope this turns out not to be true, bu tall signs point to the opposite.

UP got a pass - the stock market is all over the place with the government shutdown, China trade situation, etc. So they can blame their falling stock price on Trump for the time being. Once there is some correction on the stock market itself, then they will continue with the mass lay-offs. Apologize for posting twice -initially made under the wrong post.
