More layoffs in February?

Been hearing about possible layoffs in February. I was wondering if there was any more info on it here? Anybody?

Definitely shrink Bartlesville, right down to ZERO.

Get rid of everyone and hire high school grads. Lower cost, higher returns. More $ for the CEO.

Shrink Bartlesville

Close Midland (assets divested)

Sell remaining Canada

Expand Anchorage and HR

Permian make good training ground for Spinster. We make good spreadsheet and best in class, very serious on business. Best run franchise ever.

Permian has been taking investors to the cleaners for a hundred years. You can make a great discovery but can't get production to market or dispose of water or pay high surface use fees, etc.

What COP knows that no other operator knows about Permian play? I don’t understand supply and demand. If it’s really busy, everything is expensive due to demand. But it’s expensive in remote area because there is not enough demand? We are told different story each year about why Permian is not profitable compared to EF/Bakken etc. so which one do we believe. If all other operators are loosing money how come their balance sheet doesn’t show it?

All of the remaining Permian will be for sale. Mainly because in L48 if it isn't Eaglefart, it isn't worth it. Obviously this means layoffs proportionate to the size of the Permian organization.

I get a kick out of all the trim Bartlesville quips. On a daily basis I deal with extremely incompentent people in Houston. If Bartlesville staff wasnt there for the Houston staff the wheels would come off. Not to mention its far cheaper to run business in Bartlesville than it is in Houston from a facilities perspective.

Where you hearing Midland office news? Permian is best place to grow in L48. Who is driving this truck?

They will close the Midland office and those that don’t move to Houston will be let go. Look for us to sell more Permian assets, maybe all of them.

Trim off that edge called Bartlesville. Shut down Bartlesville and centralize to Houston.

I feel like RL and Bill Clinton have a lot in common. No layoffs, no relations with any women.
