Thread regarding Dril-Quip Inc. layoffs

who will hold DeBerry accountable?

DQ is in the worst position it has ever been. At what point will board of directors step in and change the management?

A responsible CEO who has runs out of viable options and reverts to statagies that have proven not to work in the industries would step down and allow a fresh face to come in.

Give him as much money as he wants to stand down if money is his only motivator but get someone else in who is motivated by making a difference.

DQ could be a top company if we only had a forward thinking leader.

Cause Blake outsourced his thinking hat to recent FMC hires, and is on cruise control! Collect the pay while it lasts.

Responsible CEO who wants to be "one of the people" would slash his salary. Not Blake.

Years ago, the "centre of excellence" strategy was tried by both Vetco and Cameron in Aberdeen and Leeds. In the long run, it never worked out as planned. What makes Blake think it will work now ?

He has thrown his last dice. The change to centres of excellence is going to cost millions and it is being funded through redundancies. If there is not an immediate increase in revenue then he is doomed but at the same time unfortunately so is Dril quip. Once our share price drops we are up for a take over which will probably see the closure of all facilities.

When will the board step in - never, as its now to late.
