Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

As soon as our chain of command changed, AP was dealt a death blow

As soon as our chain of command changed, AP was dealt a death blow. We used to be a neutral non-biased entity in the stores, now we have to keep our mouths shut. Issues brought up to MAPMs are always met with "partner with your store manager". They tacked on the ASM part because they needed another keyholder and someone to pick up some of the old Comgr tasks when they were shown the door. It had nothing to do with "how great we are". As I've seen in retail, when managers are laid off they will just hand store keys to people further down the ladder. Supports and CAP supervisors - looking at you guys! Who knows maybe even CSMs!

Is that all APASM positions or just Low and Medium risk stores that will eliminate the APASM role?

I was just told within the last hour that the AP ASM positions are going away. I don't know if there's any truth to it, but it wouldn't shock me.
