Could it be? We have been in the new year for over a week now and there are no layoffs yet? Things are definitely looking up at GE!!!

Well, except for all of global ops.....and for all of you who love to bash GO and Cororate do keep in mind most of us are just workers - not the execs who created the mess. You may hate the org but it’s just as bad to be laid off from one group as another..,

Layoffs coming to Wilmington NC next week.
This is the calm before the storm...its definitely coming.
As we sell more businesses the axes will fall.
If we make it through the end of the month, I'll feel some relief but it won't be too long before I start to feel the anxiety towards the end of every week again. The long term good feeling that I once had from working for GE, has been gone for a long time now. These current times are unlike anytime in GE that any of the retirees I've talked to have experienced.
Just wait it is coming again! More restructuring and if GE survives it will be a whole new GE.
