Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Raises this year?

Will raises this year be at the national average of 3.1%? Does management think their decisions led to average, below average or above average performance?

There were no changes to the 2018 rating system. Go out to MyBlock to review the changes for 2019. I am sure the 5 point system will make a huge difference in the raises. Ha! Management has moved to a no ratings approach to their reviews. Hhmm! Tenured and experiences employees are not rewarded for their hard work on an annual basis. There is no reason to destroy your personal life for an extra 0.5%.

There are going to raises across the board for most job classes, there is a hr document on it. It is a general review that is done to make sure our pay is competitive, it will be announced soon I think. Im looking at a 4% or 5% raise if I remember right, then you also will get your merit.

Yeah, I would sure like to see a raise besides the piddly amount you get if you have a decent year end review. CCC Sales has not seen an across the board raise in 3 years! And we continue to get more and more job responsibilities with no end in sight! Working us like dogs for just slightly more hourly than the unlicensed Service crew. And our binds have tanked due to the service calls we're expected to handle. Meaning our commissions are in the toilet too. It's depressing as hell

Disaster sites are a disaster in and of themselves. Greedy management led to shorting claims and gave credence to lawsuits and secret file disclosures. All of this culminated with a significant loss of reputation and trust that were 80+ years in the making

Bring your can to one of these disasters and see if you are overpaid?

The last poster sounds like a millennial. I'm surprised he even has stayed with the company long enough to find this website.

So many overpaid lifers. If they just did what GM did and give offers to those with 12+ years experience this problem would solve itself. No reason to keep increasing wages without increased results.
