Ladies and gentleman, this pitiful state CGG is in right now is what you get when you let people who have no place running a company run the company. Majority of upper management got where they are through nepotism and a---kissing, and boy does it show. Not only did they push us into Chapter 11 last year, they kept screwing up so bad now Chapter 7 is becoming a realistic possibility.
Just imagine what this place could be with competent management. It's just too bad we'll never get to see it.
The tech guys wouldn't know how to move to the cloud. They spend too much time fire fighting and just keep doing what they know. The processing power could easily moved. The data could be moved, but they don't know the knowledge to do it so it's easier for them to keep things as they are.
Backwards technology thinking, should sc-ap Redhill and move all the processing into the cloud. Flexible resource and only pay for what you require.
But when did management with all those skills and experience actually last innovate?
And I mean management, not ideas from the workforce .
