More GE Power problems. Utilities are shutting down 18 of GE’s newest gas turbines for repairs at power facilities from Taiwan to France.
GE is setting aside nearly $1/2 Billion Dollars of unexpected premature repair cost. The fear is nearly 130 produced gas turbines will require this design correction.
The 9HA, 7HA, and 9FB are all feared to be impacted.
GE is throwing smoke screens trying to diminish the negative impact on its reputation. The smoke screens will damage GE’s reputation even more.
