60,000 employees and 60,000 agents/agent staff. All of which are powerless with the exception of one. Nowhere else in the fortune 50 is there such a concentration of power. You're all apart of a modern day anomoly. A symbolic board, zero policyholder(shareholder) representation, and a single chairman/CEO. The good neighbor company is a dictatorshiop and the dictator has been clear. Appreciate your job & benefits, fall in line, or say goodbye. If this wasn't such a legislatively influenced "business" the story would have a greater probability for future change. However, as we know, SF won't likely be forced to change and there will continue to be an army of pawns. Ambitious? Want to rise in the ranks? You'll need to prove your loyalty through relocations & elder appeasement. The only beauty in this situation is the natural order of capitalism slowly cutting this newly ugly monster down. The beauty is accelerating as Geico continues with effective management and SF limps while pointing to it's 100 year old purse. The costumer will win and it's likely SF won't because tippy red stockings got in over his head. Atlanta, Phoenix, Dallas will be fine. Bloomington-Normal is at risk. Acknowledge the reality and start discussing solutions. Otherwise, we should all be done with these layoff.com forums and find another means for helping this great company that's found itself greatly mismanaged. (Grmpwn)

The original post is spot on. You're either a tipsord or a replaceable. We're in a modern day fiefdom.
Obviously the State Farm Social Media team is chiming in....its their job
60,000 employees and 60,000 agents/agent staff ..... shows you don't and never did work for the company HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA
What’s with that “site owner” paranoia ? I seriously doubt they care much. Out of thousands different forums here, why would they troll this particular one? And why would they care how many employees we have?
I see the site owner is trolling the comments section again..
SF is like Wall Street wolf!
Receding market share is never fine.
Tippy is doing just fine. So is State Farm.
Troll.
still the site for sour grapes and sore losers HAHAHAHHAHHAHA
60K employees ha ha ha. Nice try site owner.
