We are working harder and harder now under the bottom of the barrel management because the good ones and the ones that cared about the workforce are gone (some are left) and unfortunately still leaving or in the process of looking for better maybe less paying jobs, but better treatment. Just another prick move by the general elelectric Schenectady gang who want to nickle and dime us until we're all done. I understand giving us the option to work with restrictions but no reason whatsoever should a person not be able to use a full functioning clinic on work hours for pt that typically lasts less than 30 min. I agree more comp and disability cases will just remain home under that new policy. Thanks ge, just like we bailed out you and gm (I understand the different circumstaces) using middle class tax payer money to save middle class jobs... keep laying us off and nickle and dime us to death. Yes a small percentage take advantage (no matter who you work for)...go after them not the entire workforce. The last un negotiated ge benefit we had that helped keep employees working and these id--ts take it without any kind of notice. 7 dollars a share or not maybe its time to put them on notice. Sometimes you have to go out on principle even if the final result is no job. Either way if it is going to happen it will strike or not. No reason to take out its problems on hard working Schenectady hourly workers by nickle and diming them to death in a way that doesnt matter in the big picture. Schenectady is working hard (the hourly) maybe more than ever to keep this ship afloat within power....we're not overpaid, we are not sleeping etc. for all you anti union overeducated or undereducated on this bulls..t website think. It's well proven, union workers provide a better product with better pay and benefits than the freeloaders (you know who you are) that benefit off of us. All I can say is keep working hard under these difficult times and hope for a time when our politicians and GE are held accountable. Never give up.
