Whole Foods will be one of the last retailers to go "cashierless", if ever.

Our needy, overly entitled,o.c.d dieting customer base will always need a few customer service tmembers to b--ch at...come on now...downsized but not all gone...
Thank God! I can’t to Wholefoods to start the self checkout register I am tired of listening cashier asking me if I would like to become a prime member. WTF!!!
Excately, it would be in anyone's best interest to have an updated resume and be ready to look for work fast, because when it happens WFM will see the true Amazon, WFM will ran just like a fulfillment center.
I'm getting the feeling that Amazon will not be replacing old apps and tech piece by piece. It is too much effort to redesign each screwed up little system. The entire WFM tech ecosystem needs a massive enema. I think they will reveal an an entirely new set of systems all in one fell swoop. One day it will be the same old sh--, then boom; cashier-less stores, auto replenishment, and touch screen kiosks.
I am in So Cal and our local ethnic market just rolled out pay by app and cahsierless... target has been doing it for a while in small format stores
