Thread regarding Weatherford International Ltd. layoffs

Spears has WFT valved at $700M

Taken from an email note from Spears; …"$700M for a company with sales of $6 billion? Why so cheap? Debt, combined with lack of growth. Like we tell everybody, Weatherford was a good company with good people doing good work, but this good work is hard to sustain when debt covers everything like a soaking blanket".

Also note that since the downturn, WFT has grown sales only 9% while Halliburton's sales are up 50%

I was just reading what was valued at used toilet paper after a Wednesday at the taco truck. 2 for 1 boys. Greasy swipes for sure.

A suggestion has been made to have our Houston employees put on a Grand Gala Variety Show. The purpose being to raise funds to support our supply chain debts and efforts. This gala event fundraiser would showcase our employees interests, skills and talents. Whether it be singing, magical, comedy sketches or topical technical presentations there is a place for you and your team members in this premier showcase event. Proceeds resulting from this gala event will go to support our supply chain’s outstanding balance as well as bonus incentives for management retention.
