The fresh cap 1 hours are being cut from 40-to-36 hours a week. Some employees are getting 37.
Why do they cut employees hours? How long will this last.

Thank You, my pto time was cut to only 2 hours of pto time, and I usually get 4 hours every paycheck. I have only been with Walmart only a short time. I need to found another job soon. Not in retail. Thanks everyone for your feedback.

I have friends here in Decatur, Il. on the CAP team and other areas whose hours are being cut too, and most of these folks have been with Walmart for many years. Needless to say, they're freaking out.
Painful as this is, I think it's time everyone employed by that company gets their resumes up to date and start applying around----fast.
WM remains the nation's biggest private sector employer and there is going to be a mass crush of job applicants flooding the market soon, I fear.
