Is it me and my team, or do VP’s and management sound more desperate than usual? It’s life and death these days to enroll a student that won’t even complete a first course. Embarrassing!

LOL. VPs expectations are laughable. None of these student will pass first course since we are just slamming them in. This collapse will be interesting.
defiantly looking out for their own goals, now they want to combine Dec and Jan expectations so we don’t just sit on Regs. Nice try, I’ll hold on to mine u til January, I’m not concerned with your personal budget VPs!
They are just looking out for their goal. It’s not to make the best UOP is to protect their investment to get it to the sale. They are acting right as you would expect. Double life.
Seems like it's our C Level and SVPs who are ruining us.
Great question -
What do VP’s do? I am not sure what they do. I know they run numbers, yell at managers and directors. We can hear them from the office being yelled at. VP’s really provide no value. Excess fat that needs to be trimmed.
Another great point.....we have NO long term strategy. Sure upper management says it’s to grow and they have fancy names, there is NO long term plan. 2 for 1 on classes? Pathetic and it makes us look like the Walmart of colleges. Excellent job.
Growth?? That's hilarious! We need new sr leadership to stop the hemorrhaging.
Desperation from them to achieve their large bonuses while they plummet the university. They really lack long term strategy. It's hard to believe they have no self reflection on how everyone views them. Why isn't Peter replacing more of his direct reports? To grow we need new Sr leadership.
VP’s of Enrollment.... what do they do? Serious question here, what do they do?
There are larger serious issues. First with struggles from Joan B it was cartoon marketing ads. Then came flat pricing, period. Well then they kept discounts too which just makes it as confusing but just lowered profit. Then push for separating applying with the finance part, guess we just want the email, don’t scare then with a social sec number. Now coming soon two’fer deals on classes coming. Really buy some get some free?? Ever heard a university do that. Embarrassing last try efforts. Bad system choices and building upgrades. Top that off by everyone staging to keep a job. Last try to get all they can for a fire sale maybe. God help us.
New enrollments can “meet” their expectations, but retention is a different story. A new student needs to attend ‘x’ amount of classes before revenue is generated.
Enrollment sales rep here....our team is getting the same messages. Our last “state of address” the prez said enrollments met expectations. So it’s unclear why the urgent push.
On another note.... what’s going on with new hires? Did that ever happen?
Great business model. Enroll new students who cost more than the revenue generated, if revenue is generated at all. Keep up the great work cutting more costs!
