Does PepsiCo offer any other post-layoff services to its (former) employees? Maybe job counseling, retraining, or something like that?
Or is that way too much to ask for from them?

The outplacement is through Lee Hecht Harrison, mine was for 6 months. I found a job, better than what I had at Pepsico after 2 months. The outplacement is nothing special, it's helpful to a degree, like creating a resume, especially when you haven't had to that in 20 years, and having a community of other people "in transition", but the reality is, it's on you. LHH has this canned approach to job hunting in 2018, they preach its all about networking, its all about Linkedin and how many connections you have etc etc , but, you need to take it with a grain of salt. There are many ways to find a job. I found a job better than what I had at Pepsico, on my own, after one interview. LHH had nothing to with it. Timing and place are also big factors, I showed up at the right time with the right experience.
When I had my job eliminated in 2010 after we were bought out by PepsiCo they offered some nonsense they called career help.
Outplacement services are offered through a third party vendor. I believe you are eligible for the services for 6 months.
Just curious in case of another round.
