Just in case the one speaking about seeking alpha doesn't get it yet.... You all aren't doing so well.... Just an observation watching the stock price plummet ...

Seeking alpha is a bunch of low level nitwits with a fancy looking platform to give them a larger voice than their 'research' deserves. Just like the internet you can find anything you want there to substantiate whatever view you have. Most of its bs.

There is no liquidity crisis YET. If GE does not complete the anticipated asset sales going forward, and/or the Power market continues to decline, 2020 could be the year we sink. There is enough cash and assets to stay afloat at least until then.

One big step GE could take (and I’m shocked they haven’t yet) is to freeze pension accrual. This would help immensely with the underfunding and would also cause some of the older employees to take retirement.

Be careful with SeekingAlpha articles – anyone can write there and almost all writers are amateur finance folks. They have their own opinions, on some topics the same writer will post two opposing articles, one saying that the stock value will improve and the other that the stock value will drop. Something like this… I am not commenting the validity of this article, I am merely saying be careful when it comes to SeekingAlpha.
