WM is just a player. The game itself will never change

Walmart is experiencing the same wane in their success as all powerful institutions before them; that's the cycle. The new trend is online shopping, and it's such a radical departure from anything the world has seen before I can't imagine what is going to replace it. Amazon IS the new Walmart.

But these are just the players. The game itself has never and will never change: the ultra rich owning everything and screwing everybody. Don't expect any laws to stop or even slow this, these people own the politicians and law enforcers.

And as for boycotting anyone? Never happen. People are far too conditioned to shopping, it's the ultimate socially accepted d--g addiction.

I stopped reading after 'you're wrong'. That's a dumb way to start. I'm not wrong, you just don't agree.

You are wrong. There are several things I will never buy online and they include shoes (I have to try them on first), clothes (same thing, need to see if it fits), fresh vegetables and food (I want to pick them out and not have someone else do it and send me bruised fruit), and things I need RIGHT NOW because something broke. While online shopping is great for some things, I can tell you that I have also spent time sending items back that were not the same as advertised, were broken there was something else wrong with it.

As to the shopping phenomena as a whole, you need to look at the current trend of the minimalist movement. People are getting tired of owning too much stuff. They are not even buying the latest and greatest iPhones anymore. The buying public are wising up.
