Union talking to Greenville GE

Greenville GE employees in talks with union. Company not honoring seniority for jobs and shift preferences. Greenville has always done things right in the past, now they're changing all the rules. Seniority means nothing now

The only people that a union can F— are the people who pay the union.

In my opinion.... if Greenville even thinks about going union it will be the end of GE Greenville.

Unions are not going to save GE Greenville, they will simply take your money and put an even larger target on Greenville for shop closure..

Just a random question but how many Union shops has GE shut down in the last 10 years??

Just my opinion..

The union is screwing over the schenectady employees as we speak. Pretty much every protection we had has gone now given away by the union. Don’t believe the hype they don’t fight for anything anymore. You’ll see the officials around re-election time and that’s about it. Good luck

The blue collar work force in the Southeast has been told by big business that "unions are bad." The hourly guys at Greenville would do well to remember that the reason they have enjoyed above average pay for the last 25+ years is a direct result of union negotiated contracts. They have benefited from the work of the union even though they are not paying union dues.

I guess you can talk all day...you probably need to actually vote a union into your shop first though.

Nobody likes seniority until they have it, then it's all that matters...
