Thread regarding Citrix Systems Inc. layoffs

Restructuring question

Hi all

I am new to this board but heard about it. On Friday my manager told our department that we are undergoing some restructuring and it made me think that my job could be in danger. She said not to tell people outside the dept which made me more suspicious. Any insights would be helpful.

Thank you.

i wish they announce the reorgs and planned layoffs to stop the suspense . it scares the good people at Citrix and productivity goes down the tubes.

Hard to tell if this is real as one person keeps commenting about EMEA Finance on multiple posts.

@WdTQM8y-dyb, any clean up of Templeton's "hey let's put an office here cause I like the weather and I just bought a house here" is good news to me.

I heard EMEA Finance was being consolidated into the US and we will be severing all those positions. So sad for those who moved there.

restructuring could mean a shuffling of the org chart, cuts or a combo of both. shuffling of the org chart could mean that you are re-org'd under someone else (that is, pushed further down the food chain). remember you cannot have a senior reporting to a junior.if you Sr Manager and report to a director but are re-org'd and now report to another Sr Manager you promotability to director is now zero unless you move to a different group.

if cuts, then you would get a severance package. directors and above get the best packages.
