Who got a settlement check???? I heard the people who got laid off will not be getting it??? I gave a statement to a lawyer back in 2016 about this case and heard people are getting settlement checks??? Please help

Call the 800 number associated with Gonzales v BBBY settlement website. They will ask for your name and let you know if you will or won't. But because anyone who signed separation paperwork to get their severance, they may have forfeited their right to any and all class action lawsuits.
So did the any laid off dept managers get a settlement and what was the amount?
It was filed through California Superior Court so I think it's only for California employees or ex employees.
Does this include Texas laid off dept mgrs that didn’t get paid overtime when they worked it.
I didn't file anything. I vaguely remember seeing a class settlement lawsuit information in the mail sometime last year, and never did anything or thought about it until I received a settlement check this week.

I just received a settlement check for Gonzalez Vs Bee Bath and Beyond. I don't remember signing up for anything, but then paper says "50% of individual settlement amounts are for alleged unpaid wages; 50% shall be allocated as penalties.... Blah blah blah"
