100% accurate. Lowe’s must change. Thank god marvin is making the change to protect 300K+ employees. That means only the people / roles that are most important to the customers will be here. Sales floor!!!!!

Any LP at Lowes always knew we were on the chopping block every year, we all talked about it, if you didn't start applying for other jobs the day Marvin was named CEO then you have no one to blame but yourself. I was a cut at HD, not this time Marvin, I got out. Sorry for you guys that tried to get out but couldn't but the rest of you, come on, what the hell were you thinking?

Christian CEO is an oxymoron.

Do unto others as you would have done to you? So CEO can be a Christian on Sunday but not on Monday. Who cares, leave that stuff in the pew. Assuage you guilt some other way. You said you have been the receiver of change? Then that makes what you’re doing worse because you know personally how it feels, and yet still do it to others. I’m surmising you are is one of those “prosperity cults.” Flaw in that belief is you think because you are blessed that you are a Christian. Best read through Jesus’s teachings and parables again. Rich man, eye of the needle. Beware hypocrisy Marvin. It’s the yeast of the Pharisees.

It would be better if you stopped using God Bless at the end of your messages, it only makes it harder for me to talk to people about the love of God at work.

Oh, wait, if I do that I get fired. So just stop tying what you do to God. He and I don’t see it as useful to his purposes.

Wow one income family? Putting all of your eggs in one basket was your choice and not having a backup income is not the smartest move these days.

Do not blame anyone but yourself for putting YOUR family in that position. Good thing you are not running the show. We would be a nonexistent family.

For all of you Marvin haters, go find our past leaders and rip into them for having to put Marvin in this position of having to make so many tough decisions early in his tenure. Oh you might find their golden parachutes on an island of the cronies who FAILED us all miserably as they all reaped the benefits of making BAD decisions with ZERO accountability!

Again, insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results.

Cry me river the last CEO took a huge dump on lowes and left it a mess. PSI was never going to work and LPMs are largely useless considering lowes only prosecutes high level thief's. To expect anyone other than people you know to actually care about your situation is laughable. Boo who someone has it worth move on your time is up happens to alot of people

How is the part about hiring 50K seasonal , 10K MST , 6K Manager’s and 2K IT people missed ? It’s amazing how all we focus on is the negative. Lowe’s must change. We cannot continue to get beat by depot year after year !

I thought Marvin was going to be “transparent” with the staff cuts. We give HR nine months to find a new job, LP, PSI, and PSE are given weeks in a slow period.
