All of this is pure speculation. SMs are on a conference call right now. Pretty sure the info from that call will get leaked....whatever it may be about. Obviously it's important if SMs have to get on a call on their day off. Our minds will be eased eventually. Some people have valid points and some people get a kick out of adding fuel to the fire. None of us really know. Only thing I'll say is to all the people saying "No LP conference call have been scheduled" you really think they will schedule a call to inform you of major changes, no they tell you like an hour before "get on a call." They just punch you in the mouth without warning. So just sit tight and hope for the best.

One less person to watch thieves steal stuff. Who cares. PSI is the problem here. They generate sales. LP decreases them. Turtles piss customers off and they leave. All our Osb and 2x4x8 are indoors and take 20 minutes to lift outside to load. Etc etc.
then they watch us get robbed and fire anyone dares to interfere with a thief.

Lp just got an email tomorrow at 10 am
Regional LP recently sent out calendar invite for mandatory conference call at 10:30am EST tomorrow. The call is for all LP in the region.
Just received my email for a conference call at 9:30 tomorrow.

Lowe's is generally a follower and not a leader but at least they'll soon lead in missing power drills and batteries.

Just wait til word gets out that no one is watching each store. The internal theft alone will make Lowe’s hover over 1% for the rest of eternity. Want proof? Look at every other company that does multi unit. Trash.
The problem is when there is smoke you always find fire. Most of the time what is posted is pretty close to the truth. I think there is going to be a “restructure” and it is going to hurt the LP’s. Marvin Ellison said he is a big supporter of shrink prevention and it is important to have BUT he is also a buisness man that loves making money. If he see’s cutting some LP positions adds shrink but doesn’t hurt badly - he’s probably going to do it. He’ll test the waters & see if it effects the shareholders. If it does - he brings them back, if it doesn’t scare the shareholders then he will keep it as less LP, just a thought.

I have not been informed about a call for LP's yet. I am waiting for my boss to say something to us. Will post when/if he does.
They wanted Store Managers to be at home for this call. Less chance they will spill the beans early. They’ve no doubt been threatened, but something will still leak very soon now. Reminds me of other management layoffs in the past. They sent the SMs home after the meeting and told them not to go back to the store. I agree there’s a reason no Regional LP has chimes in here to tell everyone it’s all ok. You know half the LP in the company are watching this site right now. You can tell by the post views.
