I decided to stop complaining about Schlumberger and do something about it. I'll be starting my new job in a few weeks, leaving this place behind (hopefully) for good.
I once used to enjoy working here but those days are long gone.
I wish all those staying all the best. Maybe this will be a turnaround year for SLB, who knows...

The people you leave behind are just baggage. Get rid of the profligant, eschew emotional sentiments and ex hypothesi onwards and upwards to reconnect with the intellectual fraternity. The oil industry is going nowhere but down.
