Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Yay Bloomington made it to the top ten list

of the the most dangerous places to live in Illinois.

Bloomington was 10.......Peoria was 7 AND Chicago was not in the top 10.

Now SF can get down to hiring some real talent......just like the managers that still work there and could not win a battle of the wits with a wet paper bag. SH

I would agree. Move to Chicago or East St. Louis or in Philadelphia and then you can complain.

Transformation=Equals. Primed “Managers” treat once professional folks who actually have life skills and work experiences and brains. They should stop acting like high school coaches and learn the work and real life. They treat employees like high school children. Hard to trust Managers there. Lil over zealous bout micromanaging and acting like experts and leaders. Demeaning. Micromanaging professional folks when Management provides little value. Go Team!!!

@WRE2kgm-6cwn thanks for clarifying they were only shootings. How about the stabbings, muggings rapes, robberies, GTA and most importantly, theft of your paycheck via high taxes? Still comfortable walking around at night in any neighborhood?

Plus, most shootings that occur everyday (not murders) are literally in 2-3 neighborhoods. I travel through Chicago neighborhoods everyday without worry.

So one or two murders in Bloomington in a year makes it less safe then Chicago where they have 1 or 2 a day on a good day.....I would still feel safer walking around Bloomington's worst neighborhood at night than most places in Chicago during the day.

Don't think State Farm didn't play a part in this. The following article explains how this Bloomington murder s---c-de was committed by a State Farm employee https://www.pantagraph.com/news/local/police-father-killed-his-children-himself/article_0d9e4331-fc3e-55b1-8869-e7bc496e46aa.html

Both parents were IT analysts during the IT layoffs.

A couple years ago there was another s---c-de within one of the corporate buildings. https://herald-review.com/news/local/woman-s-fatal-fall-at-state-farm-headquarters-apparent-s---c-de/article_541731f0-0632-11e3-93b1-001a4bcf887a.html

@WRE2kgm-1vxb it is calculated per capita. Meaning number of crime per some number of population. That is why Chicago didn't make it. They have a few more people than Bloomington.

Chicago not being the top 5 places in any list of dangerous sh--holes means the study or survey criteria was rigged. Had you said Bloomington was in the top 10 places of boring places to live.....
