Glad I got out 2 years ago. Retirement is a wonderful thing. Morale is at an all time low. Heard today that 400 people were let go yesterday. Another 75 by year end then another 20 percent next year. At that point there will be few to do the work and whoever is left will be completely overwhelmed and firefighting. Nice going Lance.

I guess it depends on your perspective and what you read into the statement made by the poster. I saw nothing wrong with the comments. I know a few who already retired and they are sick to death of what is happening now.

What an inappropriate and horrific comment by the OP. I am not involved with the company in question but I must say, for someone who retired two whole years ago trolling a layoff board to issue a "s---s to be you! glad it's not me!" taunt is just the height of immaturity and wrong-headedness. Honestly, with an attitude like the one displayed here, I feel pretty sure your former co-workers are just as happy as you are that you retired two years ago. What a cretin - crawl back under your rock.
