I guess our troopers in the field have decided to take the Holiday off. Why should ANY employee feel ANY obligation to serve this company...this Holiday especially. Let those cars sit in terminals and ROT. Merry Christmas UP Family.

The time to strike is now.
As an employee, you absolutely have an obligation to serve the company. As a union member, if you don’t do it with integrity and professionalism, you make a mockery out of the unions’ claims that it’s in everybody’s best interest to have agreement employees performing these services.
I'm on day 7 of a 19 day stretch...we are out here working.
There are a lot of jobs out there. Go while you can. UP is under no obligation to do anything and neither are you. My paycheck will rot along with those cars. I don’t like it, but they make the rules. If I don’t like it, I go somewhere else.
No more layoffs ya
If you feel no obligation to work, just quit. Lots of other jobs out there where you won't be so miserable.
