Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

Corporate sabotage

Attempting to enter in competition with the likes of Amazon with a direct fulfillment center during a growing economic downturn seems rather ignorant. Lowe's wanting to expand more into the Pro market is laughable with no fleet expansion for job site direct delivery. The constant IT problems in their distribution centers will also be present in their new direct fulfillment center. Lowes new CEO Marvin Ellison is modeling the company for a takeover as he moves to sabotage operations for a waiting executive position at Home Depot.

I love these clowns that defend Lowe’s but haven’t fixed anything. I know three close friends that are contractors and won’t shop Lowe’s until all of the items you listed are fixed. And Lowe’s needs to get contractor grade paint not the stuff they currently sell.

Start with this- you said it. Lowe’s lack of supply has cost them $$$ in the past.

“The problem is not delivery with pro’s is inventory levels, product offers and service. All those can be fixed”

What a completely crazy post. Do you even work at Lowe’s ?? “Enter” business against amazon?? You do realize we have Lowe’s.com and have for a long time. The direct fullfillment doesn’t enter us into anything but it makes us more competitive and allows us to better compete. As far as delivery we have the same if not a better level of deliver than Home Depot does for pro’s. The problem is not delivery with pro’s is inventory levels, product offers and service. All those can be fixed. IT is a mess because it’s been neglected you are 100% right there. Again good news is that can fixed. Try understanding the programs before attacking them.

I think Marvin and the Marvettes have found that Nibron and Damlok left a deck stacked with Jokers and no Aces or Face Cards.

The only thing true in your post is the IT problems. They are problems company wide. Lowe's will never be competitive until the IT Infrastructure is brought up to current standards.

The direct fulfillment center was something started by Nibbler not Marvin. Marvin just finished it up for Lowe's. It was a photo/podcast op for Marvin.

Marvin is funding IT improvements with the sale and closures of non-productive stores and divisions started by Nibbler as a distraction.

I doubt he is waiting for a position at Home Depot, he already worked there and they passed him over for a promotion.
