Complete b---s---, like most stuff posted in this crybaby echo chamber.
Most grocery stores and retail in general have salaried team leaders, I was a team leader with WFM when we changed From salary to hourly, I think it was around 2000. We should have ended that e pediment and moved back to salary in 2008 after the economy collapsed, things might have turned out differently
They went along with it? Because anyone asked their opinion? You mean, they did their job? How dare they! Salary would be an evil thing to do. How about let them know there are changes coming so they can make informed decisions that affect their lives and their families? Some of the people on here also seem awful enough to just make things up. No wonder there are so many unhappy people. Look at who they work with! Salary is just another way to get more out of them because they already busting their butts trying not to fail the weekly tests.
If they go salary most will just step down. Meat cutters make allot of money most meat TLs would just become cutters instead.
tl’s are switching over to salary!
I kinda laugh at all the TLs who went along so willingly with o.t.s...the clipboards and automated buying were a way to downsize their position...xlipboard info can be generated from regional along with planograms/floor maps etc...id--ts led to their own slaughter..
Yup confirmed it true
impossible !
whole foods needs tl’s to blame when global, regional and store leadership mess up!
their chain of command exist for the same reason the position is called team leader so they can have someone to blame when they mess up!
To trim hundreds of millions of dollars of labor from our stores.
Amazon aims to aggressively trim the labor force before it expands with new technology and labor models.
This makes no sense. They're undoing combo teams right now. Why hire a bunch of new TLs to offer that many more severance packages?
I'd wager TLs will be salaried.
Care to elaborate? Or are you just screaming wishful thoughts?
