Was way past overdue for a salary upgrade. WS was really the only thing in the area. Why dont u ask around how below the industry rate WS tries to pay. Then go and find out the average salary for CISSP certification type jobs.
I like all the people that post this c-ap but stay anonymous. Sure ya did... cause going from 48k(beginning tech wage at windstream) to 96k is completely realistic. Oh wait - did you get some serious certs or degrees in the meantime and were due for a better position regardless of the company health??? Cause if so - then duh dumb--s. If not then post your name or it’s b---s---. 48k is a starting wage in a career type position.. and i know ws pays their starting techs pretty close to that.

Got a 5k severance for their efforts to send me almost double the pay.
WS sal: 48k
New job sal: 96k
