Stock Below $40 whoops something is going wrong

Stock Below $40 whoops something is going wrong, why does the market value big Blue so low and why in a constant decline, yes I expect the oil price to have a bearing but the oil price has been lower than it is at present and the stock was a lot higher. So why so low the oil price can not be the whole story, anyone out there have any idea what is going on? I certainly can not decide I do not have a clue.

Stock price is linked to oil price (that is how Wall Street sees it). This has been true for decades. When oil goes down, oil service company share price goes down.

With oil below $50 a barrel, it’s not economic to produce. Budgets will be slashed for 2019, so less work for SLB and HAL., it’s not rocket science.

And I bet the stock holders sit idly by and do nothing.

Put simply, there is too much oil and massive over-extraction. Fracking is the new way but the large companies cannot financially rape their clients like they have done for decades. Schlumberger got into fracking much too late and is frighteningly manager and supervisor heavy. They thought that new, young blood straight from college was the way forward...oh how wrong Schlumberger was.

There is a massive economic slowdown on the horizon and the States and China are woefully exposed. The World Bank and EMF have confirmed this although worldly-aware folk have known this for months.

You need to rip your head from the sand and keep an eye on current affairs as the times they are a'changing. It really was obvious although the Schlumberger VPs and laughably over-paid and inefficient managers were too conceited or worried about their paycheck to realise this. The corporate stockholders must be fuming whilst sharpening their axes
