It hasn’t been a week since our beloved office has closed for good, and though I’ve found other employment in a related manufacturing field I have to say I’m worried for you all and hope you keep your eyes out for other opportunities outside of Mattel. I’ve got a bad feeling about how things are going not only in the toy industry but how YK isn’t turning anything around. My vote of no confidence is cast.

Directors and above won’t leave because no one is going to pay them that much for basically sitting on their duffs. Which is what they basically do. Anyone who actually can produce has left or been canned.

Anyone employed at Mattel at this stage is a fool. It is not an experience you want on your resume. It’s a reflection of how stupid you are to stay at a company that has no hope and you are not making it any better.
