It will continue. They couldn't do it all at once or we would have revolted, but if they continue to beat us down slowly, they hope we won't notice.
Not much longer.... They are doubling down on their agent-based system with ads making fun of technology companies who use AI chatbots (Lemonade) right now on Twitter. I don't see any hope because of their leadership's lack of vision and stubborn resistance to change.
I wonder how long State Farm can even maintain the insurance agent model when so many insurance companies have gone web only.
