Thread regarding General Electric Co. layoffs

GE Renewable Energy

As a so-called Tier-1 business, GERE is relatively new to the party, having only been on the scene a few years.

In that time, they have created perhaps the most bloated management structure in the history of mankind: 5 CEOs, 16 Vice Presidents, 3 CFOs, 1 CCO, 1 CTO, 1 CDO, 20 Senior Executives, 64 Executives, and 1 Chauffeur.

Engineers must be incredibly difficult to manage.

If we reduced to 1 CEO, 1 CFO, 2 VPs and no other executives; I wager it would go completely unnoticed!

And I'm willing to bet my 401k on that!

it's clear Larry is ultra focused on the GEP and Capital messes to even begin comprehending REN. Once he looks at that unholy mess, he will really wish he stayed at Mary Washington.

LOL. Totally agree. Top heavy and highly siloed. Not sure which is chicken and which is egg.

For managers, GERE is the Alaska of GE, a place to hide from their problems.
