Rumor is that with the change in FTX and reducing the testing that the MOP will no longer have anything to do. Not that they do much of anything now other than drive around to find the best spot to eat lunch. How will they justify their job of "testing" when production is king.

I heard there is an app managers use now to scan a picture of your employee ID card as your signature for the FTX because they were falsifying them.

All mops were engineers once. They left a union agreement job to become a non-agreement manager. Most have little experience as an engineer and try to tell you how to run a train.

MOPs are a joke...they all are scumbags. They think they work the hardest and are the only ones that can go hide all day "testing". No real responsibility and anytime you question them they cry safety.....somehow they make more money than yard managers yet are responsible for less. Pat each other on the back every time they get a critical rule violation just so they can pad their bonus! They all cry how terrible they have it yet none of them go back to the ranks unless they are forced away from the gravy train of being a MOP.
