UP was a great company when Jim Young was still alive. Lance has ran it into the ground.
Yes. BNSF has much superior Senior Leadership. WB is a smart dude and he has great confidence in Rose and his team.
BNSF slashed HQ jobs a few years ago.

Matt Rose is on his way out. It’s easy to say what’s on your mind when you have nothing to lose. BNSF is still a business and it’s owners will want the best returns.
Start looking for a new job, pack your personal items and get ready for a great 2019 with another company that appreciates its employees.
Go online and look at railroad jobs. BNSF has job openings while UP is slashing employees left and right. If BNSF ever opens up a shop in Utah I would go back to the rails, until the. I’m happy being out of the Rail Industry. 😁

BNSF is gonna come out on top when this is all over. Buffet is running it for longevity not short term profits. It's a shame UP was to management heavy for him to buy instead
