VIS are done, one less option for the customer

People that actually work for the company in claims and estimatics know what the acronym is so no need to spell it out. More downsizing in estimatics is on the way.

The plan is to let our select service shops to bale to write the estimate on cars and we will pay off that estimate....even though the customer is not having a-- shop do the repairs....this way sf pulls away even more in using our on staff appraisers.......but this ,will create issues....alot,of the ss shops offer discounts...bottom line adjustments......do they write the estimates with this in mind ?...will they utilize parts search for lkq parts ?......how will they avoid steering customers to ss shops for estimates ?

They will be eliminating this program in waves across the country over the next several months. The usual way they do everything.

I work in Complex Property and have yet to hear even a rumor about this. When is there going to be an announcement and the tools updated?
