Anyone heard anything recently on the possible sale of XFS?

W8T6q4t - you nailed it. Getting the debt off the books is key...AND, those stock buybacks don't pay for themselves. Sell XFS,use proceeds to buy back stocks in artificially inflate stock price. Icahn is happy and Xerox is ready to be sold to the highest bidder. Selling XFS is a play to increase the "value" of Xerox is a sale.
It tends to come in and out with every administration change. I think one of the issues now is it carries a lot of the current debt. So selling would get that debt off of the books.
XFS is fairly critical to longer term profitability, selling XFS would be a major change in operating methodology, go to market strategy and how Xerox finance deals.
If XFS goes then we are in full on asset stripping mode before disposal.
Everyone else did...I'm surprised XFS hasn't been sold up to this point.
