Macy’s is is testing the concept of smaller stores to cut costs

There you go! Smaller stores equal fewer employees. I get that this is basically on an experiment level and it’s only 4 stores that we are talking about, but if this turns out to be a concept that proves to be effective for the company leadership we’re going to see a lot more of this shrinking. Think that a lot of people could be affected, if this introduction of smaller stores becomes a general goal for the company.
