Id say at this point fully a quarter.of the cost at Qualcomm is consultants looking for inefficiencies.
If you can't increase sales and revenue cutting costs is the only real solution
SMs gang now turning to external consultants to "further drive out the costs". There comes a point when you've driven away talent and innovation.

Agenda of pow wow is staffing needs to geo-shaft to that huge new India office.
The ship is clearly now on fire.
its going to happen, more layoffs are unavoidable. I heard from a VP. More layoffs will come but maybe in next year. One has jumped. It will be cruel to layoff before holidays.
I was part of the June layoff and have since moved on to a much better job.
For better or worse, QCOM was a big part of my life. It really pains me to watch it circle around the bowl.
