Thread regarding L3 Technologies layoffs

Will the L3-Harris merger produce redundancies at Rochester

Despite the optimism that’s widely spread by the L3 officials these days, how the Harris merger will produce new opportunities, bring more business, and ultimately produce more jobs, I have to say that I disagree with that and share the same opinion as the author of this article. Logic dictates that, when companies with similar products and divisions merge, some parts of the business are bound to overleap, which ultimately creates redundancies in some segments. Maybe it’s time to be realistic, I see a lot of reorgs coming our way.

Redundancies in the British sense? Are you afraid of being made redundant?

Dbz- L3 in San Diego design, build RF products just like Harris. L3 is also master of chaotic management and mistreating of employees. Cheer

Yep L3 doesn’t make radios, but they do know how to make waves. Not radio waves; but waves of confusion and Bureaucracy.

Isn't Rochester where Harris makes radios? L3 doesnt make radios. Harris is an industry leader in tactical and public safety radios. L3 doesnt make radios. Harris has an extensive product and customer support organization. L3 doesnt make radios and its a good thing they dont because they wouldnt know how to support a customer other than send them a bill and demand more money.
