I am on the Sam's side of the business. I am being told that all the out ancillary departments w/registers will be eliminated....that would mean t-b-cco, jewelry, optical and photo. Does anyone know if this is true?
I have been told that since our club remodeled and now has more self checkouts than staffed registers that the ancillary departments are not to check members. They want members to use self checkout, staffed registers or scan and go.
