Make sure you thank management when you're in the food bank line for Christmas. No gifts for the family this year but you're still together, that's what counts. Can't wait to see the look on little Johnny's face when he gets hosed for gifts this year. Do you still have the "this oilfield trash makes more money than you" sticker on the back of your truck? Don't worry about taking it off the window, they'll do that after repossession. $700 for 75months on a used truck. What a solid financial choice. Must've learned nothing in 2015. Lay offs are coming boys! Don't trust your management team. They will cut you in a heartbeat and go home to open gifts around the tree without a second thought about you.

True but what is a field hand going to do with no field work????? It was postponed until after the new year anyway in hopes that work will increase in Q1 with the new pipelines opening. If not the ax has already been prepared for expendable employees. Duncan is also preparing to take in equipment for cold stack if needed.
Voted straight Democrat on Tuesday as a registered Republican... Why? I no longer work for the industry and want to see Halliburton struggle in Pennsylvania...
The company wide layoffs will begin on Monday, December 17th, and will affect ALL departments, but the intent is to keep as many management personnel as possible, since the company has "too much invested in their present positions".
This step was taken since the previously announced cost cutting measures are NOT having the desired effect.
