I see people mentioning Hertz layoffs from yesterday, but at my location we didn't hear anything about it. Have there really been some layoffs? And more importantly, if there have, do we know if they are done for now?
I'd hate to show up at work and be hit out of the blue by something like that.
I was a location manager for 6 yrs & got laid off on 11-7. From the report I was given, approx 100 managers of all types were laid off. It was my 2nd x being laid off in 3 yrs. I am done w Hertz. I know managers across the country who are now looking to leave the company.
This is a company ran by people who only care for themselves and not for the people and their families that work for them. What a sad sad place this company has come to.
Hertz is not finished laying off. Many jobs were outsourced overseas. Layoffs are currently ongoing. It doesn’t matter your position or seniority, your Hertz jobs are not secure.
