Whats new at Uop?

I used to work there for a long time. Heard they were hiring again, AND heard you all have quotas now. Is this true? No layoffs mentioned in a long time. Are things starting ro look up for you all for once? Please give me the scoop.

It’s as negative and terrible as you would think. Probably worse. It’s a boiler room environment with the focus on students as $$$$$. That’s it. Nothing more.

I can also say new hires never stay. We had a bunch over the years, but when you’re making $40,000 and the company is riding you like a stock trader, no one wants to stay. Many people at my campus are leaving, interviewing and actively looking to leave. I have lost more than one manager in the past few years. Each learning center only has 2-3 reps. They painted a good picture today in the staff meeting, but once employees leave. The bottom will fall out.

As long as you can find those students who aren’t in default and can figure out how to pass their pathway diagnostic on a Cricket phone and can keep the same cell phone number through the entire application process, 11 should be attainable! My question is are they holding managers accountable to the same standards? If your reps aren’t hitting budget then managers aren’t and senior managers wouldn’t be either ? It would be nice to see some of those lazy turd Senior Managers get fired! Maybe Romney and Zuzatits will throw a jersey day and bring around the snack cart and pass out addicted to success mugs along with some expired Fritos from the storage closet!

There are quotas now. Its true. Only one or 2 locations actually need new hires because UOP is now paying c-ap salaries for the amount of sales you are required to do thus reputation s---s and its hard to keep staff. EVERYONE IS REQUIRED TO ENROLL minimum of 11 REGS in October with very few leads and no more ACC/Qualifying Center. Does that answer your question?
