Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

Amazon

I would have thought Amazon would have had a better plan in place after acquiring WFM. With all the resources and technology they have access to. Why have they not cleaned house of the clowns that ran us and continue to run us into the ground is beyond my comprehension. I have been very disappointed so far and yes I know they don't care what I think.

Hundreds of thousands people post here every day (just look at the main page and how many different boards they have, one for every major company), so if your statement was true, and all of them could lose their jobs just for posting here, the whole country would have had much bigger unemployment rate.

I’ve scrolled through the website’s privacy policy (the link is in the footer), they disclose your data only if they get the court order or you posted a threat to harm someone / destroy something.

So, the only way I see the company can track you down is if you post something from the corporate network or you give yourself up by posting too much personal info.

really ?

you sound like a regional pbs or anti union wfm global team member!

open dialouge???

there is only wfm will and what the regional and global team members want!

you do open dialouge and wfm team member services will get rid of you!

they will focus on all aspects how do i know you ask?

do you know how many time i have sat in write ups specificaly final write ups where they say wether you sign it or not it goes in your file?

they can type up anything they like without your signature all they need is a shifty or above to acknowledge that’s what happened.

is you don’t sing it goes in your file for other stl’s to view and affect your worker performance.

they relly on word of mouth not facts.

so if they are on bad terms with you due to political facts or affiliation you are done my friend.

republican or libertarian.

no specific details given my fellow wfm team member discrediting friend.

no posting online is 100% secure.

really ?

this site has come to be question on more than one occasion.

next time try harder to discredit team members .

everyone realizes that anyone can post anything here even if they are pro wfm region or global team members.

who are you and why do you want to prevent better benefits and working conditions for all team members?

millenials olease remember this don’t expect instant gratification iit takes years to change things and we haven’t even begun dialouge with whole foods to bargain anything .

if you believe anything online you lost the battle already.

try unionizing before you discredit it.

we have the power to decide what happens not them.

nothing get fullfilled without us!

regional whole foods and global will not stock a single thing!

so pass on them and say yes to amazon leadership to replace them!

Haha..if you think by stating that they turn over information to identify people youre either paranoid or a troll trying to discourage free expression and open dialogue....OR MAYBE... If you got "found out", its bc YOU gave too many SPECIFIC DETAILS. Are you stupid or something? Stupid is as stupid does #gumplogic

This was a real estate purchase and not a grocery store purchase. They don't care about the brand or company. They want to convert stores as much as possible to amazon go. They'll make it less and less convenient for in store shopping to push for online sales only. All of whole foods will look like tiny warehouses built for only executing online purchases in 5 years.

If you wrap aluminum foil around your head when you post, they won’t be able to identify you.

If you think Whole Foods was bought with the intentions to line the coffers of amazon you’re delusional. Whole Foods was bought by amazon to have a leg up over the competition by enticing people to commit to a prime membership so their shopping experience feels tailored, exclusive, and at times easy with 2 hour delivery. The only interest in our data systems they have at this time is ensuring that r10 scans those qr codes so they can eventually glean information about their prime members shopping habits. They are not here to override an outdated program like IRMA.

nope .

they know who you are pro wfm regional & global leadership.

when things switch over night at the work place with a deleted post from this website.

my friend how could it happen?

wfm leadership is only intrested in promoting their friends and are only carreer oriented.

they don’t apply the bezo’s strategy if the company does good you do good.

they are in it for thems themselves .

example :

i implemented ots ,i was the one who brought x-mas trees from the north atlantic region,i set this in place but evidence shows other wise of course after a 2 years turn around statistically things improve over the worst year and thats their excuse.

not customer obsessed and not not really willing to keep customers happy what matters is their regional leadership success and the global leadership success!

not the companies!

again they know who you are the layoff passes on info to companies to protect them from team members.

please remember thelayoff works with companies to let them know who posted these posts.

it already happened after i posted something now the specific shifty is focusing on that team and is being supported by the stl .

they will not move a finger to stock anything.

unfortunately we have desk jockies not store leadership says ask us for help and when we do they say why do i have to work on your team !

please take care of it or i’ll have to write you up!

guess who is responsible astl’s and stl’s decisions that affect teams ?

the teams of course that’s them washing their hands of their decisions.

the layoff is only passing on info to companies so please stop they already know who you are.

Whole Foods profits are small potatoes for them. They didn’t buy wf to squeak extra money from it

This demonstrates that data doesn’t always describes your customers. They don’t know how to turn this ship around. You can’t turn a high end store into an average store and expect these customers to pay high end prices for c-appy fruits and vegetables. It’s not going to happen.

Example: The chocolate pudding for the 365 brand is ruined. They changed the ingredients and kept the same price. This product just s stays on the shelf.

The fruits and vegetables are done. Where are these great farm items that used to be at the stores.
