So now it will be a 3rd party? I remember at one time when the invoice associates could make or break a store. How it's changed in just 10 years.
Sam's club still pays a small amount of Bill's at club level some Bill's were taking away a few months back maybe even a year ago. I suspect they are working to get all invoices paid directly out of HO
Global Shared Services pays the bills for each store. They took over the invoicing 2 years ago. They are based in bentonville.
What does shared services functions include?
Shared services? Or Global business services? All processes? Some processes?
This isn't a new phenomenon. Anything that can be outsources has already been outsourced. Marginal changes maybe. A scenario where GSS doesn't exist in Bentonville, unlikely.
